NHF Opens New Community Learning Centre in Juba

New Hope Foundation has inaugurated a new community learning centre in Juba, providing after-school support and remedial classes for over 200 vulnerable children. The centre, equipped with basic learning materials and trained facilitators, will serve as a safe space for children to learn, grow, and thrive.

Feeding Program Reaches 1,300 Monthly Beneficiaries

Our feeding program continues to grow. We are now providing daily nutritious meals to over 1,300 individuals, including orphaned children, elderly community members, and pregnant mothers. NHF remains committed to scaling this program to 20,000 beneficiaries with the support of generous donors.

Emergency Shelter Response for Displaced Families in Three Counties

Following an outbreak of displacement in three South Sudan counties, NHF rapidly mobilized to distribute emergency shelter kits — including tents, blankets, mattresses, and mosquito nets — to 450 affected families. The response reached over 2,700 individuals within 48 hours of deployment.

Year-End Clothing Drive Distributes 2,000+ Items to Vulnerable Families

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners, NHF's year-end clothing drive resulted in the distribution of over 2,000 clothing items and pairs of shoes to vulnerable individuals and families across Juba and surrounding communities.

NHF Partners with Local Schools to Launch Adult Literacy Program

In partnership with three local primary schools, NHF launched an adult literacy program targeting women and youth who missed formal schooling opportunities. The program, running three evenings per week, has already enrolled 85 participants in its inaugural cohort.

Agriculture AUG 2024

Agricultural Training Empowers 60 Families Toward Food Self-Sufficiency

NHF's agriculture program completed its second training cohort, equipping 60 rural families with practical skills in subsistence farming, water conservation, and seed banking. This initiative is a cornerstone of our long-term food security strategy for South Sudan.
